Resistance is Fertile

On Thursday 4th November, Friends of the Earth have organised a public meeting, with Caroline Spelman, MP for Meridian. Details are as follows:

When: Thursday 4 November, 7:30 pm
Where: St George and St Teresa's Parish Centre, 337 Station Road, Dorridge

What this meeting allows for is a perfect opportunity for interested people to both learn about our current global farming system, and why exactly it is unsustainable, and to meet like minded people, to share views on the matter, and to formulate possible solutions to the problems locally.

Opportunities like this do not come around often, as arranging a meeting with a local MP can often be cumbersome, and, for some, quite daunting - this provides an excellent opportunity for exactly this, and to be with a group of people who share the same interests as you - combating climate change.

If there is anyone that is interested in attending this, it is not too late to do so - RSVP to the email address meridenmeeting@gmail.com, and if any more information is required, do not hesitate to comment on the post.

The meeting is an excellent opportunity to air concerns and views about this, Caroline Spelman will undoubtedly be happy to answer as many questions as she possibly can.
